Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Pines Intelligence for use of EasyDay, including the iOS app (App Store ID 6802764598), the website, and related backend services. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. It is part of how we operate the service.

EasyDay helps families organize chores, events, reminders, and rewards. Features may include family member profiles, optional calendar writing, optional push notifications, and optional voice commands. We may add, change, or remove features.

The person who creates a household must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where they live. That person is the organizer and is responsible for the household.

Children may use EasyDay only if a parent or guardian adds them and shares a family invite QR code. EasyDay is not a Kids Category app. Do not use it to collect more information about a child than is needed to assign chores. Do not share a child’s invite code with anyone who should not see that household’s information.

By adding a minor, you confirm you are their parent or guardian, or have authority to allow their use, and you consent to our processing of that child’s information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Organizers sign in with a phone number through our authentication provider. You are responsible for the phone number and devices used to access the account.

An organizer can create a short-lived QR invite for a household member. Scanning that code places a member session on that device. The member can then see and complete work for that household. Organizers must share QR codes only with the intended person. You can revoke unused invites and member sessions. Treat a leaked QR code as access to household information and revoke it.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for anything unlawful or to harm a child
• Try to access another household, probe, or disrupt the service
• Share QR invites or member sessions with people who should not have household access
• Upload unlawful, abusive, or infringing content
• Misuse voice or other features to submit other people’s sensitive information
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or overload the service except as allowed by law

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

You and your household own the chores, events, names, and other content you submit. You grant Pines Intelligence a limited license to host, display, and process that content so we can provide EasyDay, including sending it to service providers described in the Privacy Policy.

We may remove content that violates these Terms or that we are required to remove.

Push notifications, calendar writing, camera access for QR codes, and microphone access for Talk are optional. We are not responsible if a reminder is late, missed, or not written to your calendar.

If you use Talk, your speech and a short household context are sent to our AI provider so we can create or update chores. Do not use Talk to dictate information you do not want processed that way.

Rewards, points, and dollar amounts in EasyDay are household tracking tools. Organizers decide amounts and any real-world payout. Experience rewards have no cash value unless a parent or guardian chooses to give one. Pines Intelligence does not hold funds, process payouts, or guarantee that a reward will be paid.

EasyDay is currently offered without in-app subscriptions. If we later offer paid features through the App Store, Apple will charge those purchases, and Apple’s terms and refund rules will apply. Deleting your EasyDay account does not cancel an Apple subscription. You would cancel that in your Apple ID subscription settings.

You may stop using EasyDay at any time. To delete an organizer account and household data, email support@choreboard.ai. Organizers can remove members in the app, which ends that member’s access.

We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms, if we must do so by law, or if we discontinue the service. After deletion or termination, some records may remain as described in the Privacy Policy.

EasyDay is provided “as is” and “as available.” It is a family organization tool. We do not warrant that chores will be completed, that notifications will arrive, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Pines Intelligence and its people will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of EasyDay. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of fifty U.S. dollars (US$50) or the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

Some places do not allow these limits. In those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

The EasyDay iOS app is also licensed under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for EasyDay or its content. If these Terms and Apple’s standard EULA conflict for the licensed iOS application itself, Apple’s EULA controls for that license.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. If a dispute is heard in court, you and we consent to the jurisdiction of courts located in the United States. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have that cannot be waived under consumer-protection law.

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and change the “Last updated” date. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms, except where applicable law requires a different process.
