Download the iOS app from the App Store. ChoreBoard is a free trial in 2026. Paid plans may be introduced later, and pricing is subject to change.

Organizers sign in with a phone number and a one-time code. There is no email or password login. Family members join with a QR code from an admin and do not need a phone number.

New household sign-up requires agreement to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. The organizer must be 18 or older.

An admin opens Family and adds a person, then shows a one-time QR. The other device opens ChoreBoard and chooses Family member? Scan QR. An admin can revoke that device later.

Optional avatars: an admin can take or pick a photo. That photo is used only to make a headshot and is not kept as the original.

Talk uses OpenAI GPT-Live so an admin can create, read, update, assign, complete, or delete chores and manage reminders such as appointments, work, school, and sports. Voice setup can add family members and choose admin or member roles.

Broomie is limited to operating ChoreBoard. It does not provide parenting, relationship, family, medical, mental-health, legal, financial, educational, disciplinary, or other general advice. For an unsupported request, it should direct you back to chores, reminders, schedules, or family-board administration.

Voice features are optional. When used, microphone audio and relevant household context are sent to OpenAI to perform the requested action. Conversation bubbles appear during the session, but voice audio is not saved as a lasting household record. Always review names, roles, schedules, and chores before relying on an AI-created update.

For privacy, ChoreBoard automatically stops listening after inactivity, at a maximum session length, when you leave the voice screen, or after an out-of-scope request. Voice does not resume until you tap Resume.

Camera, photos, microphone, notifications, and calendar are optional.

• Camera — scan a family invite QR, or take an optional avatar photo
• Photos — optional avatar from the library
• Microphone — optional GPT-Live Talk and family-board voice setup
• Notifications and calendar — turn these on in Profile

Denying a permission leaves the rest of the app usable.

Organizers: Profile → Delete account permanently removes the household and sign-in. Members who joined with QR: Profile → Leave family ends that device’s access.
