Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the EasyDay iOS app (App Store ID 6802764598), the related EasyDay marketing website, and the backend services that store your household data. It does not apply to Apple, Clerk, or other third-party services except as described below.

By creating an account, adding family members, or using EasyDay, you acknowledge this policy. Our Terms of Service cover use of the service.

EasyDay is operated by Pines Intelligence. Questions about this policy or your data:

EasyDay is a general-audience family app, not a Kids Category app. A parent or guardian creates the household with a phone number. Children may use the app only after that adult adds them and shares a family invite QR code.

We do not ask children to create their own phone-authenticated accounts. A QR scan creates a member session on that device so the child can see and complete their chores. The adult who adds the member is responsible for consenting to that child’s use and for sharing the QR code only with that child or another trusted caregiver.

If you add a child under 13:

• Enter only a first name or nickname and a role. Do not add a child’s phone number, email, home address, or precise location.
• We store that name, role, and the child’s chore and reward activity so the household can use the app.
• We do not sell children’s data, use it for advertising, or track children across other companies’ apps or websites.
• You can remove a member in the app, which ends unused invites and member sessions for that person. You can also ask us to delete household data as described below.

If you believe we have collected a child’s information without a parent’s consent, email support@choreboard.ai.

We collect only what we need to run EasyDay.

We do not require notifications, calendar access, microphone, or camera to create an account. The iOS location permission string exists for possible future features; EasyDay does not currently collect precise device location.

• Create and authenticate organizer accounts and member sessions
• Show chores, events, rewards, and household progress
• Send optional push notifications and write optional calendar items
• Process optional voice requests through our AI provider so we can create or update chores
• Keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems
• Respond to support requests and legal obligations

We do not use household data to train public AI models or to advertise to you or your children.

Household members who are signed in or joined with a QR code can see that household’s chores, events, members, and rewards.

We share data with service providers only to operate EasyDay:

• Clerk — phone sign-in and organizer identity
• Apple and Expo — App Store distribution, push notifications, and optional on-device calendar access
• Vercel and Neon — hosting and database storage
• OpenAI — optional voice. When you use Talk, we send audio plus first names and current chores or events so the assistant can understand the request

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose data if required by law, to protect the service or our users, or as part of a merger or sale of Pines Intelligence, in which case this policy will still apply or you will be notified.

EasyDay does not use advertising SDKs, does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and does not show third-party ads. We do not request App Tracking Transparency permission because we do not track in that sense.

• Household, chore, event, and reward data is kept while the household exists.
• Unused QR invites expire after a short period and can be revoked by the organizer.
• Member sessions last until they expire, the organizer revokes them, or the member is removed.
• Voice audio is processed to complete the request and is not kept as a lasting household record.
• Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations.
• After you ask us to delete an account, we delete associated personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal, security, or dispute reasons.

• You can decline microphone, camera, notification, or calendar permission. The rest of the app still works.
• You can turn notifications off in iOS Settings.
• You can turn calendar sync off in the app. Copies already written to your device calendar stay there unless you delete them.
• Organizers can add or remove members and revoke QR invites and member sessions.
• You can stop using Talk if you do not want voice audio sent to our AI provider.

Organizers can review and edit household members, chores, events, and rewards in the app. To correct account information we cannot change in-app, or to request a copy of your data, email support@choreboard.ai.

To delete your EasyDay organizer account and household data, email support@choreboard.ai from the phone number on the account and ask us to delete it. We will delete the account record and associated personal data, including member profiles and household content, within 30 days. Removing a member ends that person’s invites and sessions and removes their profile from the household.

Deleting the EasyDay account does not delete your Apple ID, Clerk records that Clerk retains under its own policy, or events already copied to a device calendar.

We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted transport, hashed invite tokens, and authenticated sessions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please share QR invites only with people who should have access to your household.

EasyDay is operated from the United States. If you use the app from another country, your information is processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your home country.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to appeal a decision we make about a request. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To exercise these rights, email support@choreboard.ai. We will not discriminate against you for making a request. If we cannot verify you, we may ask for additional information.

We may update this policy as the product changes. We will post the new version here and change the “Last updated” date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice in the app or by other reasonable means.
